The beauty industry has a waste problem. We're doing something about it.

Getting your hair done shouldn't cost the planet. Every thing we do, from how we mix color to how we wash your hair, is designed to do less damage and more good.

WASTE DIVERSION

Green Circle Salons

We're a Certified Green Circle Salon, which means we divert up to 95% of our beauty waste from the landfill. Hair clippings, used foils, disposable gloves, color tubes are all sorted in-salon and shipped to Green Circle's facility via carbon-neutral methods, where materials are repurposed into new products.

Hair gets used for humanitarian aid. Foils get recycled into bicycle frames. Nothing just gets tossed. To help make this possible, a small $1.50 environmental fee is added to each service, supporting our ongoing commitment to sustainable practices and a cleaner planet.

COLOR PRECISION

VISH Color Management

Color is where salons create the most waste. Our VISH color system measures every formula down to a tenth of a gram  so we mix exactly what's needed, nothing more. If there's leftover color, VISH logs it and adjusts your next formula accordingly.

What doesn't get used doesn't go down the drain. It goes back to Green Circle for proper disposal. And as a side benefit: more precise formulas mean more consistent results every time you sit in our chair.

WATER & ENERGY

ECOHEADS at Every Basin

We've installed ECOHEADS nozzles at every shampoo basin. They reduce water and energy use by up to 65% and they're not just good for the planet!

Each nozzle contains naturally sourced antibacterial stones and red clay ceramic that filter out chlorine and reintroduce moisture during your rinse. Your hair actually feels better coming out of the bowl. That's a nice side effect of doing the right thing.

DAILY CHOICES

Sustainability in the details.

No single-use items

Coffee, tea, and hot drinks come in glass or ceramic mugs. Cold drinks are canned. We offer a filtered water option for those who'd like to refill their water bottles.

Smart paper choices

We use reusable towels from Marley's Monsters instead of disposable paper towels as well as 100% sustainably-sourced bamboo toilet paper from Who Gives a Crap. Less waste, same clean.

Energy-efficient swaps

In effort to conserve energy, we use smart swaps such as Ecobee thermostats, energy-efficient appliances, and LEDs throughout. Small call, meaningful impact over time.

PRODUCT PARTNER

We use evo because their values actually match ours.

evo builds products on what they call "truth, beauty, and justice." Honest ingredients, real performance, no unnecessary chemicals, and a refusal to celebrate beauty as something you have to achieve rather than something you feel.

Using evo means every product that touches your hair during your visit is cruelty-free, high-performing, and made by a company that holds the industry to higher standards.
