Hi everyone, I’m Cassie! Before joining Prickly Pear, I started my hair career in downtown Raleigh through an extensive assistant program where I trained directly under the salon owner. That experience gave me a strong foundation to grow my skills and develop my passion for creative, high-quality hair services.

My specialties include crafting dimensional brunettes, color blocking, and lived-in vivid & fashion colors. I’m also known for my expertise in medium-to-long layered cuts, like shags and butterfly cuts, perfect for adding movement and personality to your style. I’m passionate about using sustainable, eco-friendly product lines to ensure my clients leave the salon feeling beautiful and confident while maintaining the health of their hair.

Creating a welcoming, safe space for my clients is a top priority—I want you to feel comfortable and fully yourself when you’re in my chair.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll probably find me soaking up time with my family and kids outdoors. And when I get some “me” time, I’m all about bingeing reality TV, diving into true crime stories, or indulging in some online shopping (yes, it’s my guilty pleasure!).
