Hi there! I’m Laura—Stylist, salon owner, and the creative mind behind Prickly Pear Salon. With over 13 years in the beauty industry, I’ve built my career around empowering stylists and clients alike to embrace their authenticity and feel confident in their own skin.

As someone who is neurodivergent, I’m passionate about creating a space where everyone feels comfortable, supported, and truly seen. Prickly Pear Salon isn’t just about amazing hair; it’s about building relationships, fostering confidence, and creating a laid-back, inclusive environment.

I specialize in dimensional color, including lived-in, low-maintenance blondes and redheads, as well as precision cutting. My mission is to help my clients achieve their hair goals while equipping them with the knowledge to maintain a gorgeous, effortless look year-round—so you can spend more time living your life, not in the salon.

When I’m not behind the chair or growing the business side of things, I’m likely snuggled up with my rescue crew—two lovable pit mixes and three sweet kitties—or testing out new gluten-free dessert recipes in the kitchen. I love finding ways to use my creative mind outside of the salon, whether it’s dreaming up new home DIY projects, designing and decorating each room in my house, or crafting something entirely unique.
